Armen Grigoryan is a political analyst specializing in democratization, civil society, economic and political development in Armenia. He is a visiting lecturer at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University in the World Politics and International Relations Department. He holds a Masters degree from the American University of Armenia in Political Science and International Relations. He is currently a project coordinator at Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center in Yerevan.
Since 2014, Armenia has confronted a number of crippling domestic and external challenges. The major cause for the present situation is the absence of free and fair elections, writes Armen Grigoryan.
