Armine Tigranyan is a cultural heritage expert specializing in heritage protection during and after armed conflicts, cultural law, and international mechanisms for safeguarding tangible and intangible heritage. Her work focuses on the intersection of cultural heritage and identity, as well as community preservation. She earned her Master's Degree from Yerevan State University’s Faculty of Cultural Studies in 2015, where she is currently pursuing her PhD.

Armine has received advanced training in heritage protection, including the "Intensive Training Course for Experts on Cultural Heritage" at Alma Mater University, Italy (2020), in collaboration with the Regional Office for Cultural Heritage Enhancement, Management, and Protection (ROCHEMP). She lectures at both Yerevan State University and Armenian State University of Economics and has authored several scientific publications, including the monographs "Azerbaijani policy of destruction and expropriation of the Christian heritage of Artsakh," "The Armenian Cultural Heritage of Artsakh: Mechanisms for Protection in the International System for Preservation of Heritage".

Since 2020, Armine has been a young member of the international heritage organization "Europa Nostra" and has been awarded several research grants, including from NAASR and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She also contributes to Monument Watch as a researcher on the cultural heritage of Artsakh. In January 2024, she addressed the European Parliament on the endangered monuments of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), stressing the need to preserve the region's intangible Armenian heritage. She is also the Coordinator of the NGO "Bnorran Armenian Organization for the Preservation of Historical Monuments" and a junior researcher at the Ambert Research Center.
