Raffi Meneshian

Raffi Meneshian is a lecturer at the American University of Armenia (AUA) and owner of Pomegranate Music, a San Francisco-based world and classical music label. He is a member of the Recording Academy and holds an annual vote for the Grammy Awards. From 1992-1994 and 2002-2004, Raffi was a music critic and contributing writer for Global Rhythm Magazine. In 2017, he was awarded the Boghos Noubar Medal from the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Diaspora for his contributions in the area of supporting local musicians via Pomegranate Music. Raffi is married and lives in both Oakland, California and Yerevan, Armenia while maintaining an active teaching, music producing and writing schedule.
