Aspram Krpeyan

Aspram Krpeyan holds an MSt in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Oxford and an LLM from the Geneva Academy of the International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Her research interests lie in various branches of public international law with a special focus on the interplay between international humanitarian law and human rights, use of force, including the conduct of hostilities, the right to self-determination, secession and territorial integrity. She also has generalist interests in contemporary Armenian foreign policy and international relations.

With regard to prior work experience, Aspram served as a Legal Officer and later as a Coordinator of Media Relations/Project Manager at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia. She also worked as a Legal Assistant at the PR and Information Center of the Staff of the President of Armenia. While studying in Switzerland, she worked at the UN, as a trainee of the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the UN and other International Organizations in Geneva.
