Beatriz is a journalist and correspondent in Armenia for several Spanish-language media such as France 24 Spanish (Bogota), Diario Armenia (Buenos Aires), Audicion Gomidas (Montevideo) and Revista Late. She provided on-the-ground coverage of the 2020 Artsakh War in Spanish. Beatriz graduated from the National University of Cordoba in Argentina and has a Master's degree in Public Policies of Gender in FLACSO (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences). She repatriated to Armenia in 2015 from Argentina.

There’s an air of restlessness in Artsakh. It derives from the uncertainty about where the Republic of Armenia stands. The feeling is that Artsakh and Armenia are on diverging paths, and a rift has appeared between their governments.
