DigiTec 2025 is only two days away, and the excitement is palpable. For members of Armenia’s tech community, promotions for the event have likely followed you across social media. With its bold claim of being “The only space on Earth where the sun never sets,” this year’s DigiTec promises three days of continuous energy and events. Armenia’s largest tech gathering has evolved beyond an annual event, it’s creating an atmosphere of constant exchange, conversation and ambition.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, DigiTec 2025 is raising the bar. This year’s edition will be more international in scope and artistic in presentation, while remaining firmly grounded in technology and innovation. While tech professionals will find the agenda essential, the event offers inspiration for students, professionals from traditional industries, and creatives as well. The event will span three dynamic days, and here’s what you can look forward to.

A Bit About DigiTec

Since 2005, DigiTec has brought together Armenia’s tech community under one roof. In its early years, the exhibition hall was the centerpiece, showcasing emerging companies’ MVPs and impressive Armath student projects. Over time, DigiTec has evolved beyond those beginnings. Today it serves as a multi-platform space for learning, inspiration, idea exchange and exhibitions.

What truly sets DigiTec apart is its role as a gathering place for Armenians in tech from around the world—“TechArmenians,” as the organizers call them. Here, borders, flags and citizenships fade away, leaving only a shared identity rooted in innovation. This spirit of connection is perhaps the most distinctive feature of Armenia’s tech community, and DigiTec embodies it year after year. These “TechArmenians” form the heart of DigiTec’s program. Startup founders, investors, and advisors on leadership and growth will take the stage as speakers, join panel discussions, and share their expertise through workshops and mentoring sessions. They are the building blocks around which the weekend’s activities are built.

The 2025 Program

AI dominates today’s tech landscape, and DigiTec 2025 devotes its entire first day to exploring its implications both globally and specifically for Armenia. The day begins with a keynote address by Rev Lebaredian, a key figure behind Firebird’s planned AI factory in Armenia. The program then evolves into discussions covering the factory’s development and impact, alongside Armenia’s once-in-a-generation opportunity to establish itself in the semiconductor industry. This comprehensive program aims to move beyond hype and examine AI’s practical significance for businesses and Armenia as a country.

Each subsequent day carries its own theme. Day Two focuses on investments, with presentations and panel discussions examining how startups can leverage funding to scale and the role investments play beyond simply providing capital. A standout event will be the Angel Investor Club of Armenia’s pitch session, where founders can present their ideas directly to potential investors. Day Three concentrates on growth challenges, extending beyond financial considerations to the broader aspects of scaling a business. Attendees will hear insights about expanding into online markets, entering international arenas, and tackling the hurdles that come with advancing startups to their next phase. Throughout the conference, DigiTec offers special sessions and side events that enrich the overall experience.

Beyond the Tech Talks

The three-day agenda goes beyond technology, infusing entertainment throughout the experience. Cultural, musical and sports activities will fill the city at all hours. With funding from the Yerevan Municipality, this year’s DigiTec will merge with Erebuni-Yerevan citywide celebrations, featuring concerts, art exhibitions, and numerous pop-up experiences all weekend.

Adding to the festival atmosphere, Rambalkoshe’s DZEN Audiovisual Festival will run alongside DigiTec—an electronic music and art marathon featuring over 100 artists across five stages. The festivities continue around the clock, with late-night performances transitioning into early-morning activities, including community jogs at sunrise along the Hrazdan riverside. These combined events transform DigiTec 2025 from a mere conference into a citywide celebration of innovation, culture and connection.

DigiTec As a Launchpad

With more than 40,000 visitors expected this year, DigiTec creates a rich network of connections where possibilities abound. For startup founders and idea-stage teams, it serves as both a visibility platform and a testbed. Sargis Karapetyan, CEO of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) notes that teams have used DigiTec as their first real-world experiment. In one case, a startup joined the exhibition before even registering as a business, attracted a wave of early customers, and transformed that momentum into a successful launch. This potential for genuine beginnings makes DigiTec a vital platform for Armenia’s tech ecosystem. Registration for DigiTec 2025 is now open, welcoming anyone curious about innovation to join the celebration.
