The third edition of Yerevan Fashion Week had designers under pressure, models rushing between hair and makeup and thousands of eyes on runways across the city. Amid the whirlwind of shows and events, one photographer tried to capture as much of the vibe and the spotlight as possible, behind the scenes and on the runway: the attitude, the style, the anticipation and the rush of at least some of what Fashion Week had to offer.
Yerevan Fashion Week 2025 showcased Armenian creativity on an international stage, blending heritage, contemporary design and conceptual innovation. From runway shows to exhibitions and awards, the event highlighted emerging talent, sustainability and cross-cultural collaboration, signaling a maturing and ambitious fashion scene.
Once a symbol of Soviet industry, Yerevan’s abandoned clock factory is alive again, this time to the rhythm of creativity. Artists have transformed its forgotten halls into studios, reviving the space with new life, collaboration, and visions for Armenia’s contemporary art scene.

In a modest Yerevan neighborhood, the Lusik Aguletsi House-Museum stands as a sanctuary of memory. Through art, carpets, jewelry and traditional dress, Aguletsi preserved the soul of a vanishing Armenia, transforming remembrance into a living, radical act of cultural resilience.
