Lori Youmshajekian is an award-winning freelance journalist who reports on health and the environment. She holds a master's degree in Science Journalism from New York University and has written for Scientific American, New Scientist, Yale E360, Retraction Watch, among others. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she began her career as a TV and video journalist for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and News Corp Australia, where she reported on COVID-19, climate change, as well as local and international breaking news. At News Corp Australia she won two journalism awards for her contributions to the #LetHerSpeak campaign supporting sexual assault survivors.
