Sona Gevorgyan

Sona Gevorgyan is a journalist and a Fulbright scholar. She holds an M.A. in Investigative Journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a B.A. in English and Communications from the American University of Armenia (AUA). Inspired by her journalism coursework and the lack of a dedicated platform for student voices, she co-founded The Highlander, the university’s student magazine. She is currently an adjunct lecturer at AUA. Her work focuses on shaping stories that inform, inspire, and contribute to a deeper understanding of the world.
