Gita Elibekyan was born in Armenia. She has a master degree in journalism from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. She has completed Canal France International trainings (Newsroom Managment, TV program production). She began working in Journalism at the Noyan Tapan news agency in Yerevan in 2000. In 2003 she joined the Public Radio of Armenia and now she is foreign correspondent of the Public Radio of Armenia. In 2013 she joined Tbilisi based ALIQ Media (Armenian language platform) as editor. She is also freelance journalist at various newspaper.
